Pacific islanders around
the world and other nationalities living in the Pacific area
have the chance to become a member of the German Pacific society
under special conditions.
The Pacific area is Melanesia including Indonesia east of the
Wallace-line, Micronesia and Polynesia, New Zealand and
Australia. (see map)
Members in Pacific Membership are welcome to become full member.
Only full members can vote members info the executive committee,
nor can they be take part in any voting concerning the whole
society.
Pacific members will receive a limited number of publications of
the society but all English language bulletins.
Pacific members are not committed to pay any membership fee.
Donations can be made of course.
To apply for Pacific membership it is necessary to send an
application.
The executive committee or the president decides about
recognition or withdrawing of Pacific membership.
Pacific members acknowledge the statures of the GPS.

of Pacific member needs the following contents:
1. first and second Name
2. postal address
3. phone and/or e-mail address
4. profession
5. personal interest in the Pacific area
6. nationality
7. confirmation by signature or valid e-mail address
